About FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC)

What is FTC?

FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) is a robotics competition for students in grades 7-12 where teams design, build, and program robots to compete in an alliance format against other teams.

Robot Design Process

Understand the Challenge

Analyze this year's game rules and objectives to understand how to play and win

3D Design & Planning

Create 3D models and plan component placement using CAD software

Physical Construction

Build the robot physically using metal parts, motors, and electronic components

Programming
